BLANCHESTER – The Norwood reserve girls basketball team defeated Blanchester 34-31 Monday night in a non-league game.

The Ladycats led 18-9 at halftime, largely on the strength of an 8-1 second quarter.

Lacie Tedrick led Blanchester with 10 points, six of those in the second quarter.

Daelyn Staehling and Grace Irwin tossed in six points each. Zoie Stanforth scored five. Lilly Brown and Maddie Wells had two points each.
