Patrick and Marilyn (née McKay) Larrick celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Wilmington Church of Christ where they met when they were 16 years old. They were married at this church on Sunday, July 30, 1967. They have been active, serving members since that time.
The celebration was given by their daughters, Lisa Larrick Schell and Angela Larrick Tucker, and Pat’s sister, Sharon Larrick Patterson who made the beautiful centerpieces recreating Marilyn’s bridal bouquet.
One of her bouquets also was displayed with Marilyn’s bridal gown which was on a manikin at the celebration. The bridal gown display was planned by their daughters and was a highlight of the afternoon.
Family members attending were Dwight, Lisa, Lauren and Jacob Schell; Chuck, Angie, Cameron and Patrick Tucker; Brad, Jessica, Ty and Tait Tucker; Mat Tucker and Dani Hodge, Greg and Sharon Patterson, Mick and Kathi Larrick, Lois Walker, Carol Walker, and Gene and Nancy Reeves.
Many church family and friends came to congratulate and celebrate with the Larricks.
