Tax levy necessary to maintain library services News Journal staff report BLANCHESTER — On the ballot Tuesday is a 1-mill, five-year levy for the Blanchester Public Library.
Library Director Marsha Erickson says the property tax levy is needed to maintain the level of services offered by the public facility.
“With the levy, we will be able to continue to offer valuable computer access to our community and maintain our automated checkout system. In addition, the money from the levy enables us to keep our book collection, audio books and DVDs current,” said Erickson.
If voters don’t approve the levy, what will happen?
