Ahresty educates students on environmental issues
Students at Wilmington Christian Academy (WCA) are priviledged to have Tina Zurface, an associate of Ahresty Wilmington Corporation, as an educator in environmental awareness.
Zurface meets with the fifth- through eighth-grade students at WCA to discuss topics such as recycling, litter control and conserving our resources. Zurface, along with the students, are in the process of developing an environmental policy for the school.
“I am very pleased at how well these classes are going. The students enjoy discussing the topics presented and Zurface is wonderful at making the information relative to the students,” said Marlene Montgomery, health teacher. “I am extremely grateful to Ahresty for approving this program. This company is truly dedicated to this community because it is investing in our children through education.”
WCA students would like to say thank-you to Ahresty and Tina Zurface for the great oppurtunity.
