Detour no more: North Nelson Road open

Street workers pack up the “road closed” signs on North Nelson Avenue on Thursday signifying that it’s reopened. North Nelson was scheduled to be closed for 45 days but is opening up 10 days earlier.

Cheryl Gherman is the first to drive on the reopened North Nelson Avenue on Thursday. Gherman kept her vehicle parked around the block from her North Nelson Avenue because her driveway was blocked by construction.
