Seniors’ summer kick-off

The Wilmington Savings Bank Clinton County Senior Center will be holding a Summer Kick Off Picnic open to the public to be held at the center 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, June 29.

This event is free and open to the public. There will be food, treats, clown, face painting, cornhole, chair volleyball and crafts.

The center is inviting the public to join them for popcorn, snow cones, and cotton candy and see what is available to the community.

Locals earn UD honors

Marlena Merling of Wilmington and Rachel Froberg of Clarksville received their degrees from the University of Dayton during the spring 2019 commencement ceremony.

Names to UD’s spring 2019 dean’s list with a minimum 3.5 GPA for the semester were Froberg and Merling as well as Harrison Merling of Wilmington and Logan Reese of Wilmington.
