Kiwanis hosts annual soccer event

The 11th Annual Kiwanis Quaker Cup Soccer Tournament — a preseason tournament-style event for high school soccer teams — was held on Saturday, July 6 on the campus of Wilmington College. Funds raised at the tournament help with several Kiwanis community projects such as BUGs Awards, 4H, Buckeye Boys/Girls State, the Key Clubs of Clinton-Massie, East Clinton and Wilmington High Schools, and the Boy Scouts. Shown are Isaiah Hinman, Dave Hinman,Wilmington High School Key Club Members Ella Ziegler and Autumn Housh, Kiwanians Vermon L. Dillon, Robyn Hinman and Terri Thobaben , and Wilmington College Men’s Soccer Head Coach Andy Van der Sluijs helping with the tournament.
