CLINTON COUNTY — Seven people have been selected to comprise the board of trustees of the newly formed Clinton County Joint Recreation District (JRD).
The Clinton County JRD has a countywide mission to provide more wellness and recreation opportunities for Clinton Countians. Among other projects, it’s expected the JRD will seek to bring about a significant new wellness and recreation facility in Wilmington.
The seven-person makeup of the JRD Board includes three trustees appointed by the County, three by the City, and one by Blanchester.
The County appointed Reneé LaPine who is a board member of the Clinton County Port Authority; Kyle Rudduck who is managing director with Constellation Wealth Advisors; and Pamela McCoy who has professional experience in marketing, public relations and branding and is a member of the Wilmington College Board of Trustees.
The City of Wilmington appointed Wilmington Parks & Recreation Director Jermaine Isaac, Clinton County Regional Planning Commission Executive Director Taylor Stuckert, and Ohio Living Cape May Executive Director Brad Reynolds.
The Village of Blanchester appointed Blanchester Parks & Recreation Board President Tom Lee.
Clinton County Commissioner Mike McCarty said commissioners consciously sought appointees who represent a mix in terms of coming from different parts of the county, as well as people who have a variety of abilities to contribute as board members.
