Bridge inspection requires various lane and shoulder closures on northbound Interstate 71 across the Jeremiah Morrow Bridge in Warren County Thursday, Sept. 19, according to ODOT.

Beginning at 6:30 a.m. Thursday, the right lane of northbound I-71 will be closed across the bridge until approximately 9 a.m. Once inspection on the right side is complete, crews will relocate to the left side of northbound I-71 and continue inspection using a shoulder closure until approximately 4 p.m.

Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the upcoming lane and shoulder closures. All work is contingent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
