No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident involving an East Clinton school bus Tuesday afternoon in Reesville along State Route 72. Bus driver Cheryl Vogel, 62, of Wilmington, will be issued a ticket that alleges improper backing, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper on the scene. The incident occurred in a gravel driveway area at the former Reesville school facility. The car that was struck received some damage to the front bumper and hood, and damage to the rear of the bus was light. East Clinton Local Schools Superintendent Eric Magee, at the scene, said the driver was backing up to make a turn. Magee said the school district would follow procedure for bus incidents, and that the driver was done for the day and the bus supervisor was expected to drive the remainder of the route. The bus was carrying high school and middle school students home.
