WILMINGTON — Clinton Memorial Hospital is holding its first annual Baby Fair this Tuesday, Dec. 10. The free event will be held 5-7 p.m. in the main atrium and on the first floor.
As part of the event, CMH has confirmed that more than 25 vendors and health partners from across the community will participate. These unique organizations will offer education, such as infant CPR, car seat safety, and breastfeeding, as well as an opportunity to peruse holiday crafts and gifts, baby accessories, and more.
The event will be family-friendly with activities for older siblings, including crafts with Santa.
Attendees will also be able to participate in CMH’s Adorable Baby and Baby Bump Photo Contest. All newborns born at CMH and maternity photos for women who delivered/are planning to deliver at CMH are eligible.
Parent or legal guardian must submit photos by noon on Tuesday, Dec. 10 to the mother-baby care unit and sign all necessary releases in order to participate. Photos submitted will be on display 5-7 p.m. at the event and the eight winning photos will be made into large canvas prints and displayed in the redesigned unit next year.

Those interested in meeting OB/GYN, family practice, and pediatric providers who deliver at CMH and provide care for newborns and families are also invited to attend the informal meet-and-greet from 5:45-6:15 p.m. in the lobby outside of the mother-baby care unit on the first floor. There will be refreshments.
