EC FFA serves community

The East Clinton FFA chapter recently completed several community service activities.

In late December, 19 members of the FFA chapter collected canned food items and joined up with the community and the Sabina Fire Department to distribute goods for the holiday season to the residents of Sabina. The students enjoy this activity every year.

Following the food delivery, nine FFA chapter students participated in a night of service at Our Father’s Kitchen in Wilmington. This activity was to help and serve the members of the Wilmington community. Students also enjoyed the time spent at Our Father’s Kitchen and again giving back to the community.

Lastly, in late January, 13 members of the FFA Chapter were able to put in some time at the local Autumn Years nursing home in Sabina, playing bingo with the residents and spend some quality time with them.

The members of the chapter try and make a quality effort in giving back to the community. The next activity will take place this week at the Nike Center during FFA Week.
