A cruise-in and craft show will be held this Saturday, July 18 at the Cowan Lake State Park campgrounds in Clinton County.

In addition to the “Christmas in July” show, there will be campsite decorating, caroling and a free kids movie at dusk.

Food items that will be available for purchase include hamburgers, hot dogs, deep-fried funnel cakes and Oreos, root beer floats and more.

The 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday cruise-in and craft/vendor show will be held in the main parking lot inside the park’s campgrounds. Admission is free for the cruise-in and craft show.

All types of vehicles are welcome for the cruise-in.

The event is sponsored by the Friends of Cowan Lake, a nonprofit group. Proceeds go toward park expenditures. Examples in the past include a new movie projector and pea gravel under playground equipment, an organizer said.
