77 at recent On Target 4-H meeting

The Clinton County On-Target 4-H Club met at the Clinton County Farmers and Sportmans Club on Monday, March 9 with Vice President Mikala Hatfield starting the meeting at 6:37 p.m. There were 77 in attendance.

Bryce Huffman led the group in the Pledge of Allegiance and Stanley Chesney led the group in the 4-H Pledge. Sydney Bennett gave the Secretary’s Report. Stanley Chesney gave the Treasurer’s Report.

Raffle tickets, extra shirts order forms, paperwork and online enrollment were discussed.

Seth Dixon did his Member Minutes on his projects he has taken in 4-H, his Boy Scout experiences, and his dog.

Member Minutes for April will be Sydney Bennett, Bella Earley, Peninah Latham and Cadence Setty, Dirk Rinehart and Stanley Chesney.

Possible projects were gone over for judging.

Upcoming dates were discussed. The Rifle/Pistol/Advanced Shotgun shoot will be on Saturday, April 11, from 9-11:30 a.m. The next business meeting will be on Monday, April 13 from 6:30-8 p.m.

Anthony Mayer and Tim Ritchey both won a $25 certificate to use for a trip to the Shooting Sports Camp. Congratulations to Anthony and Tim!

Lyle Delph just went through the Rifle Instructor Camp and Dave Chesney just went through the Archery Instructor Camp.

The meeting adjourned at 7:03 p.m. Members not having a Safety Meeting then went into a Safety Meeting.
