WILMINGTON — A collision Monday has caused the temporary closure of Wayne Road (formerly State Route 73) in front of Cape May Retirement Village.
Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Kenneth Cottrell estimated at 5:30 p.m. that he believed the road would re-open by about 6:30 p.m. At 6 p.m., a wrecker was seen headed toward the scene.
A man had to be extricated from a truck involved in the collision. Both he the male driver of the other vehicle left the area in an ambulance, according to on-scene officials.
