‘Braking’ news: Breakfast and breast cancer awareness

0

WILMINGTON — This year looked a little different at CMH Regional Health System’s 13th annual Brake for Breakfast Wednesday morning at Foster J. Boyd — without the local school students volunteering — but CMH employees stepped up in a big way.

The breast cancer awareness event is CMH’s biggest annual event. The to-go breakfast included a Panera “Pink Ribbon” bagel and fresh fruit plus giveaways and information and giveaway information on mammography, treatment, cancer screening resources, and a voucher for a tumbler if you schedule a mammogram at CMH in the month of October.

Patients interested in scheduling a screening mammogram may contact their primary care provider or call 937-382-9606.
