COVID-19 in Ohio: 2 days, 2 records for number of new cases reported

The State of Ohio reported a record number of new cases for one day with 2,039 on Wednesday. Thursday’s number topped that with 2,178. Clinton County remains in the orange alert level. As of the 2 p.m. Thursday update, the state shows 165,627 confirmed cases and 10,216 probable ones for a total of 175,843 including 16,824 hospitalizations, 4,730 confirmed deaths and 308 probable ones due to COVID-19 for a total of 5,038.
