Locals earn Shawnee State degrees

Shawnee State University held commencement on Saturday, May 9. Local graduates include: Joshua Dawson of Blanchester earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Studies. Alyssa Warner of Lynchburg earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

I-71/bridge lane closures scheduled

Bridge work will require closing the right lanes of north and southbound I-71 at the Jeremiah Morrow bridge from 5 a.m. to noon Monday, July 20.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
