WILMINGTON — COVID-19 vaccinations of residents and staff at Ohio Living Cape May in Wilmington got underway Monday morning.

“I’m very excited that we’re finally getting our first round of COVID-19 vaccine,” said Executive Director Brad Reynolds. “We have almost 100 percent of our residents in all levels of care receiving the vaccine and a significant percent of our staff is also being vaccinated.

“As I’ve said before, this is the first step on the long road out of the pandemic. We all have a ways to go, but we’ve started the journey.”

Vaccinations were administered by the staff of the Walgreen’s immunization team.
