On Friday, the Wilmington News Journal donated to the Clinton County Homeless Shelter a share of the proceeds raised through the publication of the “Wilmington 2015/2016 Community Directory.” The News Journal wants to give a special thank-you to local businesses that advertised in the directory; it is because of them the Homeless Shelter on Friday received a $700 contribution. Hill, News Journal Publisher Randy Graf, Clinton County Services for the Homeless Board of Trustees President Billie Baker, Homeless Shelter Executive Director Denise Stryker, and News Journal Media Sales Consultants Elizabeth Mattingly and Amber Kwiatkowski. The homeless shelter’s spring soup fundraiser and raffle event is coming up on Friday, April 15 at city hall.
