Drivers in Cincinnati area could encounter lane closures

CINCINNATI (AP) — Transportation authorities say late-night motorists could encounter ramp and lane closures including short-term overnight full shutdowns on highways in the Cincinnati area in the week ahead.

The Ohio Department of Transportation says there will be various lane closures for Interstate 75 bridge work in Warren, Butler and Hamilton counties early in the week, with more closures during the week in Hamilton County for sign installation.

Among highways affected at times will be I-75, westbound I-74, State Route 126 east and west and eastbound U.S. 50.

Police will help maintain traffic, and arrow boards and signs will alert motorists of closure plans.

Weather conditions could change the work plans.
