CMHS Chamber Singers Superior

CLARKSVILLE — The Clinton-Massie High School Chamber Singers earned a Superior (1) Rating during the Ohio Music Education Association’s High School State Large Group Contest held Friday, April 29 at Eaton High School.

Their performance of the pieces “Nelly Bly” by Halloran/Bolks, “Land of Our Dreams” arranged by Althouse, and “Ticket to the Kingdom” by Moore, as well as their sight reading performance, earned the singers the highest of Superior (1) Rating.

Chamber members include Noah Brausch, Gwen Broderick, Chelsea Deel, Eric Duffy, Lauren Ellis, Andrew Garrett, Gabe Georgeff, Mallory Hagerman, Halie Harner, Kendall Herrin, Dylan Klingensmith, Gabe Leavitt, Jake Miller, Shelby Miller, Colton New, Maddie Peters, Emma Purkey, James Riehle, Katie Starnes, and Callie VanPelt.

The Chamber Singers are under the direction of Erin Hales, High School Choir Director, who began serving Clinton-Massie students in 2004.
