Former Blanchester man indicted

WILMINGTON — A Clinton County grand jury has indicted Mark Baker, 36, formerly of North Clark Street, Blanchester, with two felony offenses — corrupting another with drugs and trafficking in marijuana, according to Blanchester Police Chief Scott Reinbolt.

He said the charges are the result of an investigation undertaken by Blanchester Police in late May after a resident reported that her minor daughter used marijuana with Baker. Immediately following the investigation, Baker was charged with several misdemeanor counts, and the case was sent to Clinton County Prosecuting Attorney Richard Moyer for his review for potential felony charges, Reinbolt said. Moyer reviewed the case and approved its presentation to the grand jury, which returned the felony indictments indicated last week.

Baker, who provided his current address as East Warren Street, Lebanon, will answer the felony charges in the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas.
