Vets get warm send-off

Before heading off to Dayton to board their Honor Flight on Saturday, officials and locals paid tribute to the veterans with music performed by the Wilmington High School band, “God Bless America” sung by Adrian Schaad, and speeches given by Jack Powell, Wilmington Mayor John Stanforth, Clinton County Commissioner Mike Curry, and a prayer given by Pastor Debbie Linville of the Wilmington Presbyterian Church.
