Blanchester police are seeking the public’s help to identify the person or persons responsible for burglarizing a house twice earlier this week.

On Tuesday morning, Aug. 18, a resident of the 100 block of North Columbus Street reported his home had been burglarized overnight. According to BPD Chief Scott Reinbolt, the burglar entered through a window at the rear of the house and made off with cash and guns.

On Wednesday night the home was again burglarized — this time the thief entered through a door at the front of the house and made off with several guns.

“We are hopeful someone might be able to provide information on this case,” Reinbolt said. Tips can be provided anonymously at 937-783-4702, ext. 19.
