30 found guilty in Muni Court

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by the Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the name of the defendant, age, location (if listed), charge disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Court Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which handles misdemeanors, traffic cases and some civil cases. Only the criminal misdemeanors are included here.

The following pled guilty or were found guilty of crimes from Aug. 17 to Aug. 21:

• Shearl Bowman II, 33, Middletown, assault, receiving stolen property and obstruction of official business, sentenced 190 days jail, fined $200, assessed $300 court costs.

• Justin Berrien, 36, Springfield, disorderly conduct, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), fined $250, assessed $100 court costs, no future violations and no further threats made to victim. The charge was amended from telephone harassment, a first-degree misdemeanor.

• Brett Curry, 51, Wilmington, menacing, possession of drugs and aggravated menacing, sentenced 390 days jail (suspended), fined $2,250, assessed $300 court costs, supervised probation. If compliant, the court will suspend $1,125 of the fine. Charges of assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct against Curry were dismissed.

• Jamie Deer, 38, Trotwood, disorderly conduct, fined $100, assessed $100 court costs. Deer’s charge was amended from a first-degree misdemeanor charge of assault.

• John Barnes, 59, Wilmington, possession of drug paraphernalia, sentenced 30 days jail (stayed), fined $250, assessed $100 court costs, license suspended for about six months. Jail stayed so defendant can complete supervised probation. Barnes’ driving privileges may be granted for work upon petition.

• Jeffrey Brock, 28, Sabina, obstruction of official business, sentenced 30 days jail (suspended), fined $100, assessed $100 court costs. Jail suspended on condition of no further violations.

• Jaime Cline, 19, Wilmington, underage consumption. Sentencing stayed until October.

• Robert Davis, 40, Hillsboro, possession of marijuana, fined $105, assessed $100 court costs.

• Eric Slaven, 42, Blanchester, disorderly conduct, fined $55, assessed $100 court costs.

• James Cashmore, 23, Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $100 court costs.

• Sean Pooler, 24, Hillsboro, underage consumption, fined $50, assessed $100 court costs.

• Craig Shaver, 37, Wilmington, possession of drug abuse instrument, sentenced 90 days jail, fined $250, assessed $100 court costs, no like offenses within 24 months.

• Martin Howell, 28, Port William, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $100 court costs.

• Jeremy Richmond, 18, Wilmington, underage consumption, assessed $100 court costs, 30 hours community service, complete alcohol awareness program, cannot seek sealing of record for two years.

• Mireille Hiser, 25, Sabina, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $100 court costs.

• Deanna Fletcher, 55, Williamsburg, fined $100, assessed $100 court costs.

• Ashley Slone, 31, Sabina, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $100 court costs.

• Austin Trent, 18, Hillsboro, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $100 court costs.

• Tammy Jones, 37, Wilmington, two counts of theft, sentenced 90 days jail (suspended), assessed $200 court costs, write letters of apology to businesses.

• Charles Walker, 20, Clarksville, underage consumption. Sentencing stayed to allow defendant to complete diversion program.

• Mark Huff, 19, Wilmington, underage consumption. Sentencing stayed to allow defendant to complete diversion program.

• Jeremy Gibson, 24, Morrow, theft, sentenced five days jail, assessed $100 court costs.

• Robert Bleska Jr., 42, New Vienna, disorderly conduct, fined $150, assessed $100 court costs. Charge was amended from a fourth-degree misdemeanor charge of menacing.

• Robert Sharp, 48, Pleasant Plain, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $100 court costs.

• Stacy Holbert, 34, Blanchester, theft; sentencing stayed.

• Christopher Dzunu, 18, Wilmington, obstruction of official business, fined $200, assessed $100 court costs. If Dzunu enlists in the United States Air Force, $200 of the fine will be suspended.

• Mikael Doyle-Pruitt, 28, Wilmington, obstruction of official business, assessed $100 court costs. Pruitt was found not guilty of trespassing.

• Charles Cordy, 30, Wilmington, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $100 court costs.

• Stephanie Shaw, 27, Centerville, possession of marijuana, fined $50, assessed $100 court costs.

• Charles Jones III, 24, Wilmington, possession of marijuana, fined $100, assessed $95 court costs.

The following had charges dismissed:

• Jeffrey Salisbury, 37, Wilmington, possession of marijuana; charge dismissed.

• Sandra McKee, 61, Wilmington, theft; charge dismissed.

• Jammie Irwin, 18, Wilmington, underage consumption; charge dismissed.

• Patricia Wood, 33, Wilmington, theft; charge dismissed; restitution to be paid.

• Matthew Hudnell, 34, Blanchester, ten counts of possession of a drug abuse instrument; all charges dismissed.

• Jeffery Laplant, 29, Newark, possession of drug abuse instrument; charge dismissed.

• Joanne Campbell, 36, Newark, possession of drug paraphernalia; charge dismissed.
