(Original story) BLANCHESTER —Blanchester Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a teen who has been reported missing.

According to Police Chief Scott Reinbolt, on Monday night night Chanel Watkins of the 700 block of South Broadway Street reported her 17-year-old daughter, Sierra, missing from home. Sierra reportedly left home around 7:30 p.m. after her mother said she found drug paraphernalia in Sierra’s bedroom.

Sierra was wearing a black Cincinnati Bengals shirt with orange stripes on the sleeves and white sweatpants. She is currently on probation with the Clinton County Juvenile Court.

“Night shift officers dedicated a great deal of time searching for Sierra around town and following up various leads on her whereabouts,” Reinbolt said. “A radio broadcast was issued to other area police agencies to be on the lookout for her. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the police department.”
