Farmers’ market around the corner

WILMINGTON — The Clinton County Farmers’ Market returns for its spring season Saturday, March 4 in the Municipal Building at 69 N. South St. in downtown Wilmington.

The Market will meet rain or shine on the first and third Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon through May. The summer market will begin the first weekend in June.

The 2017 Market features many returning and new vendors who will offer seasonal produce, meats (chicken, beef, lamb, and pork), farm fresh eggs, homemade baked goods, home-crafted body products, herbs, plants, flowers, and artisan crafts.

All products sold at the Clinton County Farmers’ Market are locally home-grown or homemade within Clinton County or an adjacent county.

The Farmers’ Market is currently accepting new vendors for the 2017 Spring and Summer Farmers’ Market. Vendors must live in Clinton or an adjacent county, and must grow/raise/make at least 75 percent of the items they wish to sell.
