WHS’ Davis among Rotary honorees

WILMINGTON — High school senior Emily Davis has been selected to represent WHS as one of the Wilmington Noon Rotary Club’s February Students of the Month.

Davis is known throughout the Wilmington community for her strong character and her academic, athletic, and civic leadership.

She is a member of the tennis team, National Honor Society, Junior Council for World Affairs, Interact Club, student council, and the Wilmingtones show choir. She also participates in the WHS musicals.

Outside the school community, Emily attends the Wilmington Church of Christ where she is a member of the youth group. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves to play tennis.

Looking to the future, Emily plans to attend Cedarville University where she will major in early childhood education.

Emily joined other area Students of the Month at the Wilmington Noon Rotary club luncheon held at Damon’s Grill in Wilmington.

Emily is the daughter of Donnie and Susan Davis.
