Fog lures car into pond

The Clinton-Warren Joint Fire and Rescue District responded to a van into a pond at Joy Outdoor Education Center in Warren County at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. The van — carrying four children and one adult — was leaving the camp when the driver was disoriented in dense fog and drove off the driveway onto a path leading to the pond. The van landed in 6 feet of water. All occupants were helped out of the vehicle safely and transported to Bethesda Arrow Springs in Lebanon.
