The East Clinton FFA celebrated FFA week as East Clinton High School staff and students participated in multiple events including dress days, teacher breakfast, Nike Center community service and drive your tractor to school day.

Dress days included Hat Tuesday, Camo Wednesday, FFA Thursday, and Flannel Friday. The students were encouraged to participate in every dress day. Senior FFA members and the chapter officers provided a breakfast buffet for the teachers to show their appreciation for allowing them to go to contests and conventions and for supporting their FFA chapter.

For the last day of FFA Week, students were encouraged to participate in “drive your tractor to school” day. Nathan Vest and Dakota Zurface drove theirs to show their support.

During FFA Week, the chapter’s livestock, dairy foods, equine, and wildlife team competed at the Mt. Gilead and ATI judging contests. At the Mt. Gilead Contest, the livestock team placed eighth with Denver Bernard fourth overall and the dairy foods team third with AJ Roehrich placing second overall.

Emma Malone competed for the equine team where she individually placed 46th and Cassie Parks competed for the wildlife team where she placed 103rd.

At the ATI contest, the livestock team competed and placed ninth with Blake Williams sixth and Denver Bernard 14th.

FFA Week was a huge success in gaining participation from the FFA members.
