Cube Friends Meetings welcomes pastor

Following worship service on March 5, a reception was held at Cuba Friends Meeting to welcome new Pastor Jay Schroeder and his family. Jay attended Cuba Meeting as a teen. He credits his calling into the ministry to Carleton Cates, the pastor at Cuba during Jay’s teenage years. Carleton saw God working in Jay’s life and asked Jay to have the message one Sunday morning. Since that time Jay has filled the pulpit at several local Quaker Meetings. Jay says becoming the pastor at Cuba is like coming back home. Shown is Jay with several members.
