Polar bears and chickens

Area residents were Freezin’ for a Reason by taking the 7th Annual Caesar Creek Polar Plunge Saturday and raising more than $26,000 for Special Olympics Ohio. Participants obtained monetary pledges to earn the “privilege” of jumping into the frigid waters. Those too chicken to take the plunge also helped out by raising money to not take the plunge (they also received a Too Chicken to Plunge t-shirt). For more information on Special Olympics Ohio, visit SOOH.org.
