It’s like Greased Lightnin’! CMHS set to perform musical Grease

CLARKSVILLE — It’s time to put on your leather jackets, pull on your bobby socks and follow the journey of Rydell High’s senior class of 1959.

The Clinton-Massie High School players invite you to celebrate the summer with Grease, the musical.

Grease follows the love-struck bad-boy Danny and girl-next-door Sandy in an exciting performance of absolute fun as the Burger Palace Boys and Pink Ladies sing and dance their way through senior year. This beloved rock n’ roll celebration of first love, teen angst, and fast cars, all set in the fabulous ’50s, is certain to captivate audiences.

Performances are set to take place at the CMHS auditeria beginning this Thursday, March 30 through Saturday, April 1, with the curtain rising on Rydell High at 7:30 p.m. The cost of tickets is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for children.

Under the direction of Mary Rizzardi and Stephen Haines, the Massie production team has worked countless hours to create their vision for this performance that includes set design and a talented cast.

Cast members include Lindsay as Sandy Dumbroski, Eric Duffy as Danny Zuko, Alyanna Sierra as Betty Rizzo, Adam Wasson as Kenickie, Madison Laake as Frenchy, Luke Ruther as Doody, Jezrell Forand as Marty, Darby Forand as Sonny LaTierri, Emma Purkey as Jan, Noah Brausch as Roger, Lauren Ellis Bethany Brausch and Elie Ross as Pink Ladies.

Colton New, James Riehl and Ethan Rinehart are the Burger Palace Boys, with Kendall Cloud as Patty, Dylan Vanlandingham as Eugene, Olivia Swicegood as Cha Cha, Nick Bell as Vince Fontaine/Teen Angel, Connie Fairchild as Miss Lynch and Andrew Garrett as Johnny Casino.

Ensemble members include Jennifer Callewaert, Adrianna Hagerman, Anna Uurto, Callie VanPelt and Emily Brausch.

Stage crew includes Cassie Marine (stage manager), Maura Pridemore, Logan Reese, Allison Wallace and Bridgette Farson.
