Bridge to be replaced in 2016

A Wilmington Road bridge in Warren County is scheduled for replacement in 2016 as part of the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Ohio Bridge Partnership Program,

The bridge carries Wilmington Road over Gum Run, and construction will require a 90-day closure of Wilmington Road with traffic detoured to Middleboro Road to State Route 350 to US 22/Ohio 3 to George Road.

Construction is expected to take place from June 1, 2016 to Sept. 1, 2016.

The Ohio Bridge Partnership Program is a construction initiative designed to reduce the excess of deficient county bridges. ODOT is working with Ohio’s county engineers and municipalities to replace bridges in need of repair and/or replacement.
