Chamber, United Way, Main Street celebrate

Main Street Wilmington, United Way of Clinton County, and the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce are set to celebrate their joint office location at 100 W. Main St. in downtown Wilmington. United Way and the chamber moved to this location in October 2013, with Main Street Wilmington joining the office in June 2015.

The open house will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6 p.m. Attendees may tour the space, learn about their non-profit organizations and upcoming programs, and enjoy refreshments before heading over to the Third Friday “Party at the Mural” concert in the Mural Parking Lot.

The Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce works to create an environment in which businesses of all sizes can thrive and grow by serving as the community’s leading advocate for businesses.

Main Street Wilmington serves to cultivate downtown Wilmington as a center of interest for commerce, culture, social activities and entertainment.

United Way of Clinton County strives to improve lives and advance the common good of our community through participation in collaborative groups, partnering with social service agencies, assessment of the needs of our citizens and cooperation with other community focused agencies, organizations and companies.
