FNB Party in the Park brings $1,200 for Blan Fire Department

BLANCHESTER — The First National Bank of Blanchester held its sixth spring Party in the Park on Friday, May 19 to benefit the Blanchester Fire Department.

We were honored to have in attendance many of Blanchester’s first responders, including volunteer fire department and emergency medical service members. Food, drink, music, and face painting are always highlights of the party.

FNB staff and community volunteers helped make the Party in the Park a huge success! FNB would like to thank the businesses who graciously gave in support of the event. Without them, this event would not be successful.

These wonderful businesses include: Rajai Elfar from Gold Star Chili of Blanchester, Ron Johnson of Ron’s Place, Blanchester Save-a-Lot (Gary Bauer), Mockabee Motors, Curless Printing, Mike Hedge of Hedge Auto, Tom Dazey of DIBS, LLC, K4 Architecture, Jacob’s Nursery, Moore’s Garden Center, Duggins’ Carpet Cleaning, Jody Gundler, DDS, Cheri Street hand painted items, Kim Holland of Ideal Fingertip Salon, The Allen Company, BDK Supply, Cherry Corner Nook, Advanced Auto, Auto Zone, Blanchester Fence, Sam’s Place, and Bill Martin’s Auto.

FNB would also like to extend special thanks to the Blanchester Marion Township Fire Department, grillmasters Tom Dazey, Butch Richards, and Curt Bandow, Leftside Entertainment (DJ) Jeremy Lansing, and Colleen Collins (face painter) of Faces by Lisa, and FNB staff and numerous other friends and family for making this event possible! We had a great time supporting our community and our beloved first responders of the Blanchester Fire Department.

This event has grown from a charity fundraiser into an event that truly brings our community together. It is with much joy that FNB opens the Penquite Park each fall and spring for our wonderful Blanchester community! Thank you all!
