Wise Road, Lamb Road to close

Wise Road will be closed for a culvert repair beginning Monday, June 5, weather permitting, according to the Clinton County Engineer’s Office. This culvert is located between Swartz Road and Webertown Road in Clark Township.

The last address accessible from the north (Webertown Road) is 1915 Wise Road. There are no residences on Wise Road between Swartz and the closure.

The project is anticipated to take three weeks.

Also beginning Monday, June 5, weather permitting, Lamb Road will be closed for repair of a bridge located between Burristown Road and Stivers Road in Wilson Township, Clinton County.

The last address accessible from the south (Burristown Road) is 1758 Lamb Road. The last address accessible from the north (Stivers Road) is 1888 Lamb Road.

The project is anticipated to take two weeks.

Locals earn SSU honors

Shawnee State University in Portsmouth announced the dean’s list for spring semester 2017. To be named, students must be enrolled full-time and achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or better.

Airman Koch graduates from basic

U.S. Air Force Airman Ryan M. Koch recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

Koch is the son of Elizabeth M. and Michael R. Koch, and brother of Meghan E. Koch and Trevor J. Koch, of Blanchester. He is a 2013 graduate of Fayetteville-Perry High School, Fayetteville.
