BLANCHESTER — The Book Farm, Inc. will be extending their hours this summer to host special events. Five “Just for Kids” events and three special ‘Teacher Open Houses’ are all free to the public.

The Just for Kids events will be one hour long and include a read-a-loud story, an activity and special event discounts on books, plus a take home surprise for each child who attends. These events rotate between weekday evenings and Saturday mornings to better fit busy summer schedules.

Although geared for early readers there will be something for all readers to enjoy.

The Book Farm’s Teacher Open Houses will give teachers an opportunity to connect and brainstorm with like-minded adults. Teachers will have access to online resources, free program guides, special teacher-only discounts and door prize entries for all who attend.

Join the Book Farm at 210 Lazenby St., Blanchester, or visit your local public library for more free reading programs that will keep your kids engaged and learning all summer long. For more information call 937-783-8093.
