Get ready for a Clinton County Kids & Company summer

WILMINGTON — Join Kids & Company for “Alice in Wonderland” at the Wilmington High School auditeria on Friday, June 30 at 7 p.m. and on Saturday, July 1 at 1 p.m. The classic story will be directed by Ken Lydy, long-time stage director for Kids & Company.

Admission is free, but donations are encouraged at the door. Watch Kids & Company’s Facebook page for a pre-show party before the performance on July 1.

Rising Star Drama Camp will be gearing up for its seventh season July 17 to 21, from 9 a.m. to noon at Wilmington College Kelly Center. Rising Star Drama Camp is for children 6 to 10 years of age with an interest in acting and storytelling.

Returning to lead the camp this summer is Karie Gipson from the Gigglebox Theatre Experience in Cincinnati. Enrollment is limited to 25. The 23rd Drama Camp will be from July 31 to Aug. 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wilmington College Kelly Center. Drama Camp welcomes youths 11 to 17 years of age to participate. Participants will learn acting, improvisation, stage combat, makeup, singing and more from guest artists and teachers with years of theatre experience.

Clinton County Kids & Company was founded in 1993, and continues to be dedicated to providing quality theatre arts experiences for the children and youth of Clinton County regardless of their economic level or special need.
