County land bank seeks contractors

The Clinton County Land Reutilization Corporation (CCLRC) — or “land bank” — is a private, non-profit corporation established by the county commissioners in 2016.

Its mission is to address the issue of vacant, abandoned properties, and tax delinquent properties throughout Clinton County. The land bank provides the entire county with a tool capable of transferring, demolishing, rehabilitating, and/or assembling such properties.

The CCLRC is establishing a list of eligible contractors who are qualified to work on demolitions and site cleanup. The CCLRC is seeking interested contractors to conduct asbestos surveys, asbestos abatement, demolition of dilapidated structures, site restoration (grading, seeding, etc.) and property maintenance (mowing).

Interested contractors should contact CCLRC’s grant consultant, Amy Schocken, at [email protected] or call (614) 445-8373 to request a contractor application packet.
