Clinton County Sheriff’s reports

WILMINGTON — The following information comes from incident reports provided by the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. All those arrested are presumed innocent until possibly proven guilty in court.

The sheriff’s office recently processed the following reports:

• At 10:26 p.m. on June 6, a 46-year-old New Vienna male reported several items stolen from his residence at the 11000 block of State Route 73 South in New Vienna. According to the report, over $12,000 worth of jewelry, several guns, and $500 in vintage coins were stolen.

• At 12:08 p.m. on June 6, deputies responded to an aggravated menacing call at the 1800 block of Hale Branch Road in Midland. According to the report, a 58-year-old male victim said a suspect assaulted him and threatened to shoot him. The suspect denies threatening to shoot him.

• At 6:50 p.m. on June 5, a Sabina woman reported that her granddaughter had come to her residence at the 100 block of State Route 72 North and violated a protection order that is in place.

• At 5:46 p.m. on June 6, deputies located a stolen firearm in the bed of a truck located at the 10000 block of State Route 28 East in New Vienna. A female subject was arrested for receiving stolen property.

• At 6:32 a.m. on June 6, deputies responded to assist the Wilmington Police Department in the pursuit of a stolen Wilmington ambulance. A male suspect resisted and was taken into custody on charges by the police.

• Deputies responded to a domestic violence call at the 1300 block of Turner Road in Lynchburg at 2:24 a.m. on June 7. According to the report, a 34-year-old female advised her boyfriend had hit and choked her. The suspect was arrested for domestic violence.

• Deputies arrested three juveniles and an 18-year-old during a traffic stop at 3:20 a.m. on June 10, at the 2500 block of Reeder Road in Blanchester. According to the report, the stop was conducted because an SUV was driving on the wrong side of the roadway. After investigating, the 17-year-old driver was arrested for alleged O.V.I. and drug trafficking. The two other juveniles and the 18-year-old were arrested for alleged underage consumption.

• At 8:46 a.m. on June 12, a male subject was located parked, sitting behind the wheel and unresponsive in the middle of the intersection of Dehan Road and School Road in Wilmington. According to the report, the subject showed signs he was impaired by some sort of drug or alcohol. A hypodermic needle was found in his front right pocket.

• At 3 p.m. on June 12, deputies received a report of a suspect allegedly breaking the kitchen window at the 200 block of Kentucky Avenue in Wilmington.

• At 12:03 a.m. on June 13, a male subject approached a deputy in the parking lot of the Sheriff’s Office after he found an illegal drug in his daughter’s purse. He turned over to authorities a clear bag with marijuana inside.

• A traffic stop was conducted at 12:17 a.m. on June 15 at the 1600 block of Davids Drive in Wilmington for a plate light violation. According to the report, a female subject became disorderly during an O.V.I. investigation.

• At 2:05 a.m. on June 18, deputies conducted a traffic stop on U.S. 68 South near Jonesboro Road in Midland for a marked lane violation. According to the report, a black bag that contained a clear bag with marijuana was located in the trunk of the vehicle on the passenger side.

• At 2:32 a.m. on June 18, during a patrol, a deputy observed a male subject who took off running near Child Protective Services. After a short chase, he was apprehended. According to the report, two juveniles were charged with curfew and obstruction.

• At 11:50 p.m. on June 18, deputies responded to the 1500 block of Katy’s Lane in reference to a theft of an Ohio license plate.

• At 10:50 a.m. on June 19, a 36-year-old Wilmington reported that a subject had been doing his taxes for several years and didn’t fix problems which resulted in penalties and liens he was not aware of, and now incurred significant interest. Deputies obtained the victim’s personal information and information for the IRS.

Sheriff’s deputies recently charged the following people:

• Brandon Jude, 28, of Wilmington was charged with alleged drug abuse instrument possession.

• Amanda Tackett, 27, of Chillicothe, was charged with alleged drug abuse instrument possession.

• Stephen Moore, 42, of Blanchester, was charged with alleged drug paraphernalia and aggravated drug possession.

• William McCarren, 27, of Clarksville, was charged with alleged drug paraphernalia.

• Danielle Sirkin, 25, of Clarksville, were charged with alleged drug paraphernalia.

• Ashley Robinson, 24, of Goshen was charged with alleged drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instrument possession.
