The Blanchester Brownie Troop 45988 is grateful for all the local support for the Operation Cookie Drop for the military troops.

The girls received more than 200 boxes of cookie donations from businesses, including: Blan Foundry, Fireside Solutions, Main St. Pharmacy, BDK Lumber, BIC Precisions, Main St Mall, Prewitt’s Plumbing, and Ron’s Place; Lynchburg businesses were Pappy’s, and Dot’s; and Wilmington businesses were: Rhoades Self Storage, Streber’s Mortgage, Clinton County Glass Co., Weathervane Drycleaners, Pulmonologist Dr. David Brown, Champion Bridge, Bush Auto, West End Pharmacy, Number One China Buffet, Monro Muffler Brake Service, and Fiesta Veracruz Mexican Restaurant; Sabina’s East Clinton Medical Services; and Hillsboro’s Regency Smart Styles.

The girls ended the year with their bridging ceremony as Juniors at the Blanchester Grace United Methodist Church with awards and a nice meal.

Myla Skates completed over 40 hours of community service locally. The girls completed Fair Play, Dancer, Snacks, Pets, Bugs, Hiker, Making Friends, My Girl Scout Way, Meet Customers, Money Manager, Painting, First Aid, Senses, My Best Self, Celebrating Community, Outdoor Adventurer, My Family, Philanthropist, Give Back, and Letterbox.

Several of the girls completed the Wow Water Journey, also. They are looking forward to summer Glamping Camp in July at Camp Whip Poor Will in Morrow, and anticipating exciting learning experiences as Junior Girl Scouts.
