LEBANON, Ohio (AP) — Authorities have arrested an 18-year-old woman after human remains, possibly of a stillborn baby, were found in Ohio.
The woman has been charged with one count of reckless homicide following her arrest Thursday night.
Warren County Sheriff’s Office Lt. John Faine says remains were recovered at a Carlisle home July 14. Faine says the remains may have been at the site 10 to 12 weeks.
An investigator with the Warren County Coroner’s Office says authorities have returned to the scene to obtain samples to determine if it was a live or stillborn birth.
Faine says the case is still under investigation.
