Alex Cochran recently flew his first solo flight in his father Kevin’s Cessna 172. His flight instructor is retired ABX Air Boeing 767 Captain David Hoover, who operates the Great Plains Aviation Flight School at the Clinton County Airport. Alex is planning on finishing his private pilot’s license this summer and getting his instrument rating by the end of this year.
