Shambrock makes a difference

Clinton-Massie High School student Jacob Shambrock, left, is presented a CMAD (Consistently Making A Difference) certificate from Clinton-Massie Local Board of Education Vice President Chris Harrison, right, at this week’s board meeting. Nominator and Elementary School Assistant Principal Shelley Bailey stated Shambrock, who has worked in the elementary school office both last year and this, has a good work ethic and his personality “keeps us smiling and laughing each day.” Recently, Shambrock has become a mentor in the elementary school to a little guy who’s full of energy and needs brakes to get through the day, said the assistant principal. Shambrock will play farm with him or build something with Legos, and the mentoring appears to have made a positive impact on the little boy. The elementary student’s teacher reports he has been having better days since being able to spend time with Jacob.
