The East Clinton FFA dairy judging team excelled in a national competition this week at the All American Dairy Judging contest in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
The team of Gracie McCarren, Taylor Boeckmann, Brendon Walters and Maggie Mathews placed third overall in the national competition against several other national teams at the competition. The contest was composed of several states’ best teams across the nation.
Gracie McCarren placed first overall in the nation at the All American contest and Taylor Boeckmann finished seventh overall, while Brendon placed 25th and Maggie placed 30th.
The team visited Gettysburg and Hershey Park and practiced with The Ohio State University at two different farm stops.
Others on the trip that practiced were Ashley Kinner, Shelby Williams and Bailey Corcoran.
The team would like to thank the school for the support for the trip.
