Judge sanctions misdemeanor offenders

WILMINGTON — The following report is compiled using a disposition report provided by Clinton County Municipal Court. The information includes the defendant’s name, age, residence if listed, charge(s) disposed, fine, court costs assessed, jail sentence and any special conditions. Municipal Judge Mike Daugherty oversees the court, which administers the law in criminal misdemeanor cases.

The following continues the list of those who pled guilty or were found guilty between Oct. 2 and 6:

• Tyler Simmons, 25, of Sabina, O.V.I., no operator’s license, sentenced to 180 days in jail (suspended), operator’s license suspended from July 7, 2017 to July 7, 2018, fined $1,200, assessed $125 court costs. Simmons must take part in supervised probation, a professional assessment, and complete a three-day residential driver intervention program. If compliant, the court will suspend $375 of fine, vacate ALS, and grant driving privileges immediately. An O.V.I.-high test charge, traffic control device violation, and a driving under suspension-failure to reinstate charge were dismissed.

• Heather Younker, 40, of Port William, theft, hit-skip, two counts of driving under suspension-financial, sentenced to 30 days in jail, fined $600, assessed $375 court costs. Jail time was stayed to allow the defendant to complete a diversion, pay $73.76 in restitution, and write a letter of apology to the victim. Three additional charges of driving under suspension-financial, along with a drug paraphernalia charge and a turn-signal violation were dismissed.

• Jayne Moore, 46, of Blanchester, theft, assessed $125 court costs. Moore must write a letter of apology to the victim and complete diversion. The sentencing was stayed.

• Lacy Earley, 28, of Sabina, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, drug instrument possession, sentenced to 330 days in jail, fined $2,250, assessed $375 court costs. Earley must take part in supervised probation. If compliant, the court will suspend $1,125 of fine, must have no contact with the victim, write a letter of apology to them, release seized items to them, and pay restitution of $28.79 to a second victim. Contraband was ordered destroyed.

• Samantha Brannon, 22, of Sabina, marijuana possession, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs.

• Robert Mckinney, 29, of Lynchburg, drug paraphernalia, driving under suspension-financial, fined $250, assessed $250 court costs. The contraband was ordered destroyed. Additional charges of drug possession and having an open container in a prohibited area were dismissed.

• Katelynn Parker, 23, of Wilmington, marijuana possession, disorderly conduct, fined $150, assessed $125 court costs. The contraband was ordered destroyed.

• Basil Coyle, 60, trespassing, sentenced to 10 days in jail (suspended), fined $150, assessed $125 court costs. Coyle must have no contact with the victim.

• Brian Childers, 46, of Sabina, drug possession, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs. The contraband was ordered destroyed. A driving under suspension-failure to appear/pay fine was dismissed.

• Thomas Davidson, 32, of Clarksville, driving under suspension-failure to appear/pay fine, tag/sticker violation, fined $150, assessed $125 court costs.

• Thomas Turner, 38, of New Vienna, driving under suspension-failure to reinstate, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs. An O.V.I.-suspension charge was dismissed.

• Shannon Wilson, 27, of Sabina, assault, sentenced to 180 days in jail, fined $1,000, assessed $125 court costs. Wilson must have no contact with the victim and pay $127 in restitution.

• Mona Friend, 45, of Wilmington, theft. Friend must have no contact with the victim and follow the rules of probation. Friend was sentenced on a separate date.

• Cory Devor, 30, of Wilmington, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, fined $150, assessed $125 court costs.

• Jeffrey Brock Jr., 30, of Sabina, disorderly conduct, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs. The charge was amended from a resisting arrest charge. A failure to comply charge was dismissed.

• Michaela Frey, 31, marijuana possession, fined $50, assessed $125 court costs. A marijuana drug paraphernalia charge was dismissed.

• Rhonda Hart, 53, of Wilmington, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $125 court costs.

• Britani Yaden, 45, of Wilmington, disorderly conduct, fined $50, assessed $125 court costs.

• Jarad Smedley, 34, of New Vienna, driving under suspension, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs.

• Sonny Allender, 20, of Wilmington, driving under suspension, driving under suspension-financial, driving under suspension-failure to reinstate, fined $375, assessed $375 court costs. Additional charges of a no tail lights violation, a stop sign violation, a driving under suspension-failure to reinstate charge, and a stop sign violation were dismissed.

• Lakeia Clay, 34, of Vine Grove, going 93 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.

• Lucas Thieken, 36, of Hamilton, going 90 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.

• Vanessa Torres Matos, 33, of Bedford, going 96 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.

• Blake Heyder, 22, of Galena, going 91 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.

• Roger St. John, 25, of Blanchester, marijuana possession, fined $90, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.

• Cassondra Sholler, 25, of Wilmington, child endangerment, sentenced to 180 days in jail (suspended), fined $1,000, assessed $125 court costs. Sholler shall fully comply with Child Protective Service’s safety plan as a condition of probation. Two additional child endangerment charges were dismissed.

• Robert Mcbee, 28, trespassing, sentenced to 30 days in jail (suspended), fined $250, assessed $125 court costs. Mcbee must have no contact with the victim, commit no offenses for a year, and be monitored through non-reporting probation.

• Tasha Shiner, 24, of Wilmington, disorderly conduct, sentenced to 30 days in jail (suspended), fined $250, assessed $25 court costs.

• Nicholas Yankey, 27, of Lynchburg, open container in a prohibited area, fined $55, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.

• Matthew Lewis, 27, of Waynesville, drug possession, fined $100, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.

• Robert Snell, 28, of Wilmington, marijuana possession, fined $125, assessed $125 court costs. The contraband was ordered destroyed.

• Amit Fnu, 26, of Milton, going 91 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.

• Patrick Kearney Jr., 32, of Madisonville, going 90 in a 70 mph speed zone, fined $105, assessed $125 court costs. The case was waived by the defendant.
