Outstanding Women scholarships available to graduating senior girls

The Outstanding Women of Clinton County Committee is pleased to offer — for the 10th consecutive year — outstanding young women of Clinton County the opportunity to seek their academic goals in college or in other post secondary education through the awarding of four college scholarships.

The scholarships are administered by the Outstanding Women of Clinton County Committee and the Clinton County Foundation. The scholarships will be awarded to one 2018 graduating senior girl from Blanchester, East Clinton, Clinton-Massie and Wilmington High School. Home-schooled graduates from these county school districts are also eligible.

The scholarships will be awarded to a graduating senior from each county school district that plans on attending a community college, a technical school, four-year college or university. Each applicant must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average or a 75 percentile on an ACT or SAT standardized test as well as demonstrated commitment to community service and improving the lives of others.

The scholarship funds may be used for tuition, room and board, books and other supplies.

Interested students should apply online at www.outstandingwomenclintoncounty.org by Dec. 9, 2017. Scholarship recipients will be notified in late February and honored at the annual Outstanding Women of Clinton County Awards Ceremony and Luncheon on March 4, 2018
