EC FFA holds Greenhand, Chapter Degree Banquet

0

The East Clinton FFA recently held their annual Greenhand and Chapter Degree Banquet at East Clinton High School.

The degree night was part of a Thanksgiving dinner provided for the entire FFA chapter from several parents of FFA members. Members and guests were able to learn what past FFA events the chapter participated in and what some of the upcoming events are in the chapter.

They also heard a message from state officer at-large Emma Stewarf and listened to the creed recited by Holly Bernard, Marci Ellis, Paige Bowman, Carter Carey and Maggie Mathews. Sarah Ross also delivered a speech on Wool Production in the Sheep Industry.

The chapter would like to thank all the parents who made food and helped with the event.

Thirty-one recipients received their Greenhand degree while 23 recipients received their Chapter FFA Degree.
